Every Dog is REQUIRED to do a “Trial Day”. This is to ensure the Dog(s) have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with our facility, as well as ensure they’re going to do well in our group environment.
We do NOT accept UNALTERED Dogs over the age of 6 months.
All Dogs must be up to date with their Rabies, Distemper, Parvo and Bordetella vaccinations. Starting in September we will require all Bordetella Vaccinations be done every 6 months.
Starting in 2026, we will begin requiring negative fecal exams every 6 months. Influenza will also be added to our list of required vaccinations.
At Hugo & Friends, we do not have “Live Streaming” cameras available, nor do we currently plan on introducing them. Should we re-asses this, they would be added in behind a paywall to help ensure the costly upkeep of having live streaming at any part of the facility.
We offer 24/7 Staffing Monday – Thursday night.
All Daycare, Boarding and Grooming must be booked in advance. We are small scale and require bookings in advance.

Dog Daycare and Boarding Facilities
The Hippy MuttHutt – Located in Goose Creek. The Owner works out of her home and able to cater to dogs in a more personal way. Allows unaltered dogs up to 1 year of age. Must be able to socialize with other dogs. Since she works out of her home, it’s basically “staffed” 24/7.

Charleston Canine Companions – Located off of Long Point Road in Mount Pleasant, there is a huge, spacious yard with a large chlorinated pool. Large climate controlled Facility with an even bigger yard. This Facility accepts Cats and does not allow unaltered dogs after 6 months of age.
